Returns & Fabrication Policy

Custom Fabrication Policy

All perforated metal and wire mesh panel systems supplied by Source Modern are custom fabricated to order based on approved project specifications.

Because each order is produced to project-specific dimensions, materials, and configurations, custom fabricated products are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has been released.

Production begins upon:

  • Receipt of required deposit

  • Written approval of specifications

  • Confirmation of fabrication details

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all specifications prior to fabrication release.

Specification Accuracy

Please carefully review:

  • Panel dimensions

  • Material type and thickness

  • Hole size and pattern

  • Edge treatments

  • Framing requirements

  • Finish specifications

Fabrication proceeds according to approved details. Changes after production has begun may result in additional charges and revised lead times.

Shipping & Inspection Policy

All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery.

If visible damage is present:

  • Note the damage on the Bill of Lading before signing

  • Take photos of the damaged material and packaging

  • Notify Source Modern within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to document freight damage at delivery may limit claim eligibility.

Manufacturing Defects

In the event of a confirmed manufacturing defect or fabrication error that does not match approved specifications, Source Modern will coordinate review with the fabrication partner to determine appropriate resolution.

Resolution may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Credit adjustment

Each case is reviewed individually.

Order Cancellations

Orders may not be canceled once fabrication has begun.

If cancellation is requested after deposit but prior to production release, administrative charges may apply.

Standard / Non-Custom Items (If Applicable)

If stock or non-custom items are offered in the future, return eligibility and restocking policies will be stated at time of sale.
