Production Release Terms
Production Release Policy
All perforated metal and wire mesh panel systems supplied by Source Modern are custom fabricated to order.
Fabrication will not begin until the following conditions are met:
Receipt of required production deposit
Written approval of all specifications
Confirmation of fabrication details and quantities
Production timelines are calculated from the date these conditions are satisfied.
Deposit Requirements
Custom fabricated orders require a production release deposit prior to fabrication.
Standard Terms:
• 50% deposit required to release fabrication
• Remaining balance due prior to shipment
Alternate payment structures, if applicable, will be stated on the project quote.
Deposits must be received and cleared before fabrication begins.
Specification Approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all specifications prior to production release, including:
Panel dimensions
Material type and gauge
Perforation pattern and hole size
Framing and edge treatments
Finish requirements
Fabrication proceeds based on approved specifications. Any revisions requested after production begins may result in additional charges and revised lead times.
Lead Times
Quoted lead times begin once:
Deposit is received
Specifications are approved
Production is officially released
Lead times may vary based on material availability, fabrication complexity, and order volume.
Changes After Release
Once production has begun:
Orders cannot be modified without review
Additional costs may apply
Lead times may be extended
All change requests must be submitted in writing.
Payment & Shipment
Final balance must be received prior to shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Upon receipt of final payment, panels will be prepared for shipment and delivered directly to the confirmed job site location.
